Introduction Endometriosis is a common gynaecological condition affecting 10% of all reproductive aged women. For many women, diagnosis is delayed, leading to inappropriate therapy and increased morbidity. We propose that an anteverted, retroflexed uterus is related to the presence of significant endometriosis and such a finding should prompt the medical staff to tailor future investigations and therapy to confirm and treat endometriosis.
