The influx of military service‐members into the world of higher education casts a spotlight on the veterans resource centers at colleges and universities. Such veterans resource centers can provide support to student‐veterans who seek assistance in navigating higher education bureaucracy and institutional culture. Student‐veterans rely heavily on the centers, and find them to be a support and a bureaucratic hindrance, according to our research.
