Until two years ago, printing student diplomas at the University of St. Thomas was done the traditional way. The names of candidates for graduation were compiled months in advance of commencement, and diplomas were ordered from an outside source. It would take from six to eight weeks for the diplomas to be delivered to the university, and in turn, it would mail the diplomas to the students.
