CLEVELAND — The laws of supply and demand state that your institution is more valuable to your prospective students if you offer a program that is high in demand and low in supply. One place that that might apply to your institution is in the realm of competency‐based education — what is the demand for CBE among adult learners, and does your institution set itself apart in the provision of CBE? That was one question posed by Howard Lurie, principal analyst for online and continuing education at Eduventures, during a session at the annual meeting of the Council for Adult and Experiential Learning.
