ORLANDO — When a solution to a Title IX complaint has been identified, the Registrar's Office might be called upon to implement it. For example, a student might need to be moved to a different section of a course. But what if the solution conflicts with academic regulations, could delay a student's graduation, or could cause the student to lose financial aid? Lesa Beals, senior associate registrar at Purdue University, explained the role registrars can play in Title IX at a session at the American Association of Collegiate Registrars and Admissions Officers annual meeting.
