ORLANDO — In the service area for Wor‐Wic Community College in Eastern Maryland, economic leaders struggle with job openings that require a college education that aren't being filled. With the goal of developing a workforce to meet community needs, state and local officials worked with Wor‐Wic administrators to launch the Wicomico and Somerset Economic Impact Scholarships.
