MINNEAPOLIS — In 2015, the University of Colorado at Boulder received a letter from the Department of Justice stating the institution was out of compliance with the Americans with Disabilities Act and citing a list of items to be adjusted, or the institution would face consequences. It was a huge wake‐up call for the university and forced some much‐needed change. In a session at the annual American Association of Collegiate Registrars and Admissions Officers conference, Dustin Moody, assistant director of communications and technology at CU Boulder, shared lessons learned from the experience of updating the institution's technology to achieve ADA compliance.
