I had always thought that the best way to learn about the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act and stay up‐to‐date on its changes was to read, ask questions, attend sessions offered by FERPA experts (preferably from the Family Policy Compliance Office), and cultivate contacts in case I needed questions answered. I suspect that many of you think the same way.
