In July 2015, the American Council on Education's Center for Policy Research and Strategy released a report on how race‐conscious admissions practices are used in colleges and universities nationwide. It was created in partnership with the Civil Rights Project at the University of California, Los Angeles and the Center for College and Career Readiness in Pearson's Research and Innovation Network, and with support from the National Association for College Admission Counseling, the American Association of Collegiate Registrars and Admissions Officers, the College Board and EducationCounsel.
