Abstract The prevalence of erectile dysfunction following colorectal cancer treatment is 75 per cent. Most men do not seek (and are not offered) help. Clinical care pre‐ and post‐treatment could be improved in several simple ways to ensure that men are better informed, more engaged and experience more positive outcomes. More tailored and co‐ordinated care is needed. Copyright © 2012 John Wiley & Sons
