Abstract Polaroid Corporation is committed to a policy of respect for the environment. Each division is charged with responsibility to achieve environmental goals for compliance, toxic use and waste reduction, and community outreach. This article shows how a major manufacturing division is now striving to meet new compliance demands by combining strategic planning and Total Quality techniques.
