The Fourth Industrial Revolution (4IR) is an era characterized by turbulence and volatility that pushes businesses to make faster and more frequent strategic decisions, even as the rules of strategy are being rewritten. This article uses the methods of business research (inductive case studies) and foresight (drivers analysis) to investigate the drivers of strategic success for the 4IR. The result is a framework of six strategic drivers: Collaborative intelligence, Learning systems, Exponential technologies, Value facilitation, Ethical championship, and Responsive decision making. Business leaders should leverage these six drivers to make strategic decisions during the 4IR.
