This letter introduces a step‐up multiple‐input single‐output (MISO) ac/dc converter for vibration energy harvesting. Unlike existing ac/dc converters for vibration energy harvesting, the proposed converter generates a stepped‐up output by utilizing some vibration inputs. Furthermore, the proposed converter offers an inductor‐less design without full‐bridge circuits. The effectiveness of the proposed method is confirmed by theoretical analysis, computer simulations, and experiments. © 2020 Institute of Electrical Engineers of Japan.
