This paper proposes the concept of safe storage using robotic technology. The handling problem is how to store real objects safely using a robotic system. When we store real objects, a strong box is usually used. Even when a strong box is employed, the goods in custody, including the strong box, may be stolen as the storage place and the goods in custody are stationary. This study aims to solve this problem and proposes an approach using robotic technology. © 2017 Institute of Electrical Engineers of Japan. Published by John Wiley & Sons, Inc.
