By using Cauer realization, the complex permeability of magnetic sheets is realized by a finite‐order ladder network. The effective frequency range of this ladder network is derived by using the corner frequency of the network. It is shown that Cauer realization can cover a wide frequency range with a very small number of circuit components. © 2014 Institute of Electrical Engineers of Japan.
