Summary The following eight generic names are recommended for conservation: Camptopteris with a conserved type, Clathropteris against Meniscites , Dictyophyllum against Quercites , Eristophyton against Ullmannites , Leptopteris C. Presl against Leptopteris Brongn., Lonchopteris with a conserved type, Otozamites against Otopteris , and Pirea Vavrdová against Pirea T. Durand. The following two species names are recommended for conservation: Glyptolepis keuperiana with a conserved type and Palaeospathe daemonorops against Chamaerops teutonica . The Committee supports the addition of A. Richard's 1822 publication to the list of suppressed works. The Committee judged the descriptive statement associated with “ Rhyniales Němejc” to not be adequate for valid publication.
