This cover picture displays the main steps of matrix solid‐phase dispersion, including grinding the sample with a solid phase, transferring the mixture and eluting analytes from the solid phase. The introduction of ball mill instrument realizes the first step automation of matrix solid‐phase dispersion, which is to homogenize the targets and the dispersant. It was proved that the established ball mill‐assisted vortex‐enhanced matrix solid‐phase dispersion combined with HPLC could be applied to extract and analyze the target phenolic compounds in Rubi Fructus samples and further promised to be a viable option for the quality control and evaluation of natural products.
