DOI: 10.1002/sscp.202000013 The cover picture shows a novel integrated analytical approach SPE‐MEPS‐HPLC, tailored by synergetic combination of two extraction techniques SPE and MEPS, coupled with HPLC‐UV, for trace analysis of AFB1 in domestic water tanks. Aflatoxin B1 is a naturally occurring mycotoxin produced by Aspergillus Fungi and is a potent environmental carcinogen. The integrated extraction strategy succeeded to push the detection limits up to pg/mL in spiked samples, with lower scale linear range of 0.05‐50 ng/mL. This versatile tailored approach with appropriate expansion, has the potential to push the chromatographic analysis to lower scalability range and lower detection limits for other emerging contaminants also, in water samples.
