DOI: 10.1002/sscp.201900098 The cover picture shows the synthesis procedure and the expected multifunctional covalent coating structure which involves some sites: imidazolium cations enables the separation of hydrophilic (amino acids and biogenic amines) analytes under capillary zone electrophoresis mode while the β‐cyclodextrine fragment makes possible the separation of hydrophobic steroid hormones and ketoprophen enantiomers by capillary electrochromatography.
