Sep Sci plus 2018, 1 , 597–602 DOI: 10.1002/sscp.201800072 The cover picture shows the scanning electronic microscopy image of an organic polymer monolith based on carboxyethyl acrylate‐co‐ethylene glycol dimethacrylate, represented with 2500‐times magnification. The regular morphology of this hydrophilic monolith was obtained by photo‐initiated free radical polymerization with selected porogen solvents. The new synthesized material was applied for capillary liquid chromatography separation, confined in a 150 μm i.d. chromatographic column. Acrylamides, that consist in low molar mass analytes, were successfully separated in the hydrophilic interaction mode (HILIC) using this monolith.
