Abstract Hurricane Katrina displaced 400,000 residents along the coast of the Mississippi, and destroyed hundreds of thousands of homes and businesses across Mississippi, Louisiana, Alabama, and Tennessee. This chapter examines the preparation and response of one college's senior leadership team to the disaster and to the needs of students, families, and the surrounding communities.
