The streamlines of the molten steel indicate the rotational motion promoted by the M‐EMS. Close to the higher velocities, below the middle of the mold, it can be notice a deforming of the solidified shell. There is a small reducing of the shell thickness in that region. After that, the shell thickness starts to grow up again. Further details can be found in the article by Leonardo Barboza Trindade and co‐workers, article 1600319 .
