Through systematical physical simulation of powder injection process in a torpedo‐car, the influences of operation parameters on process variables such as uniform mixing time, powder penetration ratio and residence time are determined. The relationships between the operation parameters and the process variable are obtained using linear regression method. Finally, the optimum operation parameters for powder injection are found using multi‐objective nonlinear programming method.
