Methods for the determination of titanium contents below 50 μg/g were tested and optimised by a working group of the Chemists Committee of the Verein Deutscher Eisenhüttenleute. The following detection limits were achieved: ICP‐OES and OES: 2–3 μg/g, XRF and LAS: 3–4 μg/g.
