Presentation of computer simulation of heat transfer process in horizontal continuous thin strip casting of steel on a two‐layered moving casting bed based on a flow chart with a main program and four subroutines. Aim of the computer simulation techniques: prediction of the temperature profiles in the first and second layer, the amount of heat transfer from the cast product into the substrate and the solidification time of the cast product. Comparison of the simulation output with experimental data.
