Computer simulation of human personalities is presented using standing ovation as an example of human social behaviour. Five personality components are used to influence behaviour. The experiment has proven the efficacy of basing a nonlinear dynamic system simulation on precepts derived from personality traits. Copyright © 2006 John Wiley & Sons, Ltd.
