Gynecologic Ultrasound: A Problem-based Approach is a great reference book. The aim of the authors was to provide a practical book that can be used, in clinical practice, to aid the diagnosis of gynaecological abnormalities, and I believe that it meets its aims. The authors have chosen an effective means of organising the information within the book. The content is divided into three sections: section 1 (Entities), section 2 (Normal Pelvic Ultrasound and Common Normal Variants) and section 3 (Case Studies for Review). What makes this book so user friendly is that immediately after the contents page is a list of potential differential diagnoses. I believe that this format is well
