The benefits of classic antioxidants can be translated to clinical therapies owing to the superior activity of CeO 2 nanoparticles as redox buffers. In article number 1907322, Wladimiro Jiménez, Víctor Puntes, Gregori Casals, and co‐workers present a historical background of their development for medicine, and analyze their pharmacokinetics, toxicity, and therapeutic value, focusing on the liver where they accumulate. Finally, considerations for medical nanoparticles to reach the clinic are discussed in detail.
