In article 1804523 , Yoonjin Won and co‐workers study the control of structural defects called grain boundaries that occur during colloidal self‐assembly via an evaporative vertical deposition method. The parametric study shows that structural patterns created by the formation of grain boundaries are determined by governing mechanisms such as evaporative phenomena associated with different drying regimes.
