In article number 1800937 , Shunsuke Yamada and Hiroshi Toshiyoshi develop a water‐dissolvable electrolyte by combining ionic liquid with polyvinyl alcohol, which decays in time through contact with water. The test measurement shows a capacitance of 13 μF cm −2 and electrical conductance of 20 μS cm −1 . The potential application includes disposable electronics such as distributed sensors and energy harvesters that are supposed to be harmless to the environment.
