In article number 1703386 , Periklis Pantazis and co‐workers use Second Harmonic Generating (SHG) nanoprobes to label, with high contrast, clinically relevant hematopoietic stem cells (HSCs) by establishing an effective cell labeling procedure without affecting the HSC differentiation potential. Quantitative single‐cell analysis reveals that freshly isolated HSCs show limited nanoparticle uptake, whereas HSCs entering a proliferative state display a 2.5‐fold increase in uptake.
