In article number 1700621 , Angelo Accardo and co‐workers, create 3D freestanding scaffolds for cell culture by exploiting a direct laser writing approach with submicrometric resolution. The advanced multi‐technique 3D imaging protocol provides efficient colonization of fast‐growing mouse neuroblastoma (N2A) cells, both around the architecture and within its inner core, and the formation of long (≈60 μm) neuritic extensions.
