An integrated nano‐electromechanical chip (NELMEC) is developed for the label‐free diagnosis of both epithelial and mesenchymal circulating tumor cells by M. Abdolahad and co‐workers. Large single cells (>12 micrometers) are trapped at the opening of analysis microchannel arrays. On page 883, there is an observable difference between the membrane capacitance of ECTCs and MCTCs from WBCs, as measured by silicon nanograss electrodes patterned at the entrance of the channels. This is the key indication in diagnostic approaches of NELMEC with unprocessed blood.
