A novel “on‐sheet” solid‐state chemical reaction method is designed to fabricate a nanostructured Li 2 S‐reduced graphene oxide (rGO) cathode using a semi‐sacrificial sulfur‐graphene oxide template. The as‐fabricated Li 2 S‐rGO nanocomposite shows a superior electrochemical performance, e.g., high utilization of Li 2 S active materials (86.3 wt%), long cell life (1000 cycles), and excellent rate ability.
