A simple and innovative scheme to fabricate a completely enclosed cavity microball lens (CMBL) inside a polymer substrate is devised by A. Hu, T. Chen, and co‐workers, using a femtosecond fiber laser at high repetition rates. On page 3007, the fabricated CMBL turns out to be a highly transparent, crack‐free structure with low internal surface roughness, allowing its use as a high‐quality optical component in super wide angle imaging.
