Since the first report in 2012 of a long‐term durable solid‐state perovskite solar cell, one with a power conversion efficiency (PCE) of 19.3% has been demonstrated, and a certified PCE of 17.9% was shown this year. The high‐efficiency and cost‐effective materials and processes for perovskite solar cells make them economically viable for commercialization. Moreover, their mechanical functionalities will increase their economic viability. These cells are discussed by H. S. Jung and N.‐G. Park on page 10.
