The instability of traditional one‐dimensional Au assemblies put a big hurdle on the way to their practical application. Z. Yin, W. Wei, D. Ma, and co‐workers develop a facile one‐pot approach on page 3619 to construct chainlike Au nanostructures with silica shells via self‐assembly and the classical Stoeber process, which can be used as safe, reusable, and high‐performance photothermal agents against cancer due to their plasmonic properties and shelf stability.
