An on‐nanoparticle rolling‐circle amplification (nanoRCA) strategy allows the visual detection of 30 molecules of carcinoembryonic antigen with at least 10 10 ‐fold selectivity over a range of noncognate proteins. The nanoRCA assay is applicable to the detection of two tumor markers in biological fluids: prostate‐specific antigen in spiked sera and interleukin‐8 in saliva.
