Crystal morphology changes the gas sensing activity! A recent study by X. G. Han et al. evidences the crystal morphology influence on the sensing activity of metal oxides. The sensor response of SnO 2 nanocrystals increases symbatly with increasing ratio of the high‐energy {221} facets.
