A magic‐number Au 13 cluster with icosahedral geometry can be exclusively generated from a polydisperse mixture of ultrasmall 1,2‐bis(diphenylphosphino)ethane‐coordinated gold clusters upon treatment with HCl, which acts as an efficient promoter.
