The cover picture shows carbon nanotubes (CNTs) with an assembly of quantum dot and dendrimer multilayers, generating a graded bandgap structure, obtained by using three types of Zn x Cd (1‐ x ) Se alloy quantum dots with luminescence maxima at λ = 561 nm (green), 594 nm (orange), and 614 nm (red). Probe DNA immobilization and target DNA hybridization inside the CNTs then follows.
