Double agent : Homogeneous Mn x Fe 1– x O colloidal solid‐solution nanocrystals exhibit stability despite having a metastable structure. They show simultaneous T 1 and T 2 relaxation time contrast enhancement effects in magnetic resonance imaging (see images of rat liver).
