Diameter‐controlled carbon‐nanotube (CNT)/TiO 2 coaxial nanocables are synthesized for the preparation of CNT/metal nanoparticle heterostructures and corresponding CNT/TiO 2 /metal coaxial nanocables (see image) by using very homogeneous TiO 2 as a linker. Applications of the hybrid nanostructures are investigated via electrocatalysis and surface enhanced Raman scattering.
