Learning from sea anemones . An approach to fabricate magnetic silica capsules reinforced with carbon nanotubes resembling natural magnificent sea anemones (see image) is reported. These nanocomposites take advantage of every intrinsic component within the whole structure such as the hollow nature, the magnetic component, the carbon nanotubes or the increased surface area.
