A novel visible light‐promoted synergetic organoselenium catalytic system that catalyzed a straightforward and efficient tandem reaction for the direct construction of spiroepoxy chroman‐4‐ones with relatively broad functionality tolerance under mild reaction conditions has been developed. In our protocol, aqueous tert‐butyl hydroperoxide (TBHP) instead of TBHP in organic solvents makes it greener and safer especially when applied in industry. The discovery of a synergetic organoselenium catalytic system benefits new research on visible light‐promoted radical cyclization and catalytic epoxidation with peroxidation.
