To pursue a sustainable enzyme‐liking approach, a laccase‐mimicking model that utilized natural low‐toxic gallic acid as an organocatalyst was developed for efficient aerobic oxidative homo‐ and hetero‐dimerizations of various 2‐aminophenols to afford 2‐aminophenoxazin‐3‐ones with moderate to high isolated yields at room temperature in water.
