Novel bile acid‐based receptors having 1,2,3‐triazolium and 1,2,3‐triazole moieties have been synthesized using click chemistry. These receptors show high binding affinity and selectivity for acetate ion in solution. Interestingly, the 1,2,3‐triazolium receptor shows precipitation behaviour with dihydrogen phosphate ion.
