Two copper compounds, [Cu II 4 (OH) 0.5 (MTZ) 2 (N 3 ) 5.5 (H 2 O) 0.5 ] n ( 1 ) and [Cu I (MTZ)] n ⋅0.17n(H 2 O) ( 2 ), [MTZ (5‐methyl tetrazolate) is generated by in situ hydro/solvothermal reaction], were prepared. Compound 1 shows a 3D structure with ((8 2 ⋅10) metal topology and exhibits antiferromagnetic interactions through the complicated EO‐N 3 , μ 2 ‐OH and μ‐N,N‐tetrazolate bridges. Compound 2 also displays a 3D structure with (8 3 ) metal topology, which shows good thermal stability and potential high‐energetic properties.
