Hybrid Ni@g‐C 3 N 4 ‐catalyzed highly chemoselective reduction of nitroarenes with high turnover frequency has been demonstrated using NaBH 4 as source of hydrogen. Here, g‐C 3 N 4 provides excellent stability to Ni(0) nanoparticles on its nitrogen rich surface and also facilitates the dissociation of NaBH 4 resulting formation of active Νi‐H + and Νi‐H ‐ via cooperative effect.
