A novel amphiphilic aggregation induced emission (AIE) molecule was prepared from tetraphenyl ethylene unit modified with long chain and carboxylic acid. It acted as an effective ingredient to form liposomes through self‐assembly with phospholipids. The smart nanomaterial exhibited good aggregation‐induced emission (AIE) characteristic and excellent response to temperature below 50 °C. Moreover, in vitro imaging shows that it has the potential to be used in biomedical field as drug delivery system.
